How to setup DVR network?

Simple steps for DVR Network Setup:

In Computer
- Start->Run->cmd->ipconfig /all
- Put (IP address, Subnet mask, gateway, DNS) information in the DVR network setup. (Note: The 4th segment of IP address must be different with your computer's)

In IE web browser
- Go to Tools->Internet Option->Security->Custom Level->enable all ActiveX (about 8 of them)

In Router,
- Do Port Forwarding.
- Test if the ports are open
(If the ports are closed, you need to contact your Internet Provider to unblock them or change the modem.)

Detail steps for DVR Network Setup:

1. Connect DVR with Router. (Internet Lights should be ON at the back of the DVR)

2. In Computer
- Start (left bottom of the Windows)->Run->cmd->ipconfig /all

3. In DVR
- Insert (IP address, Subnet mask, gateway, DNS) information in the DVR network page. (Note: The 4th segment of IP address must be different with your computer's,e.g. 192.168.1.xxx. The xxx part shoud be different)

4. In Computer
- Start (left bottom of the Windows)->Run->cmd->ping DVR IP address (Should return bytes, time and TTL#)

5. In IE web browser
- Go to Tools->Internet Option->Security->Custom Level->Enable all ActiveX (about 8 of them)
- Type http://192.168.1.xxx at the address bar, view the video

6. In Router
- Do Port Forwarding.
- Test if the ports are open using below link:
