What I should do after DVR network setup

After you have done DVR setup, and tested the network works.
When you want to remote view your DVR video, you should do:


1. Turn on web browser (Microsoft Internet Explorer), Enable ActiveX:

(In the top tab of the browser) Tools -> Internet Options -> Security -> Custom Level -> ActiveX and Plug-ins -> Enable or Prompt all options below this ActiveX section


2. Type you DVR's external IP address and web port number in the IE.
You can get this IP address in your DVR site. Type http://www.cctvdirectbuy.com (at the bottom of the website) to get your external IP address in your DVR site.


Note: You may have a dynamic IP address service, if so, you have 2 options:
1. You need always to find your DVR external IP address using http://www.whatismyip.com
2. Register a free dyndns domain in http://www.dyndns.org, then you will have a fixed domain name for your DVR
