Security DVR frozen (freeze) due to hard drive isse

The Hard Drive installed on this unit just died. It squeeled and then shut down. I had a spair which has me up and running again but would like to have the HDD replaced. Seagate, 500gb Barracuda. Let me know what to do from here.

Please try following method:

1. Reset DVR (reset menu), password is 6 times press 'channel 1'
2. Make sure the power source is steady.
3. Open the DVR case to check if the hard drive cables are loose. (like your computer, move/drop/delivery may damage the hard drive)
